Bruno and Hans Segmüller establish the mould making company Gebrüder Segmüller in Wagenhausen.

Moving into the new factory in Stein am Rhein, the company is already developing and manufacturing its own high-performance hot runner injection moulds.

The starting signal of innovation. Our first technologies are developed and patented.

The Segmüller AG is rebranded to FOSTAG Formenbau AG.

Management-Buy-In of the brothers Markus and Rolf Mühlemann, who are still active to this day.

The production area is doubled to 4'000 m². The machinery is successively expanded.

Change of the business model with focus on product and technology innovation. Over the years, further market-leading technologies are developed, including the InMedio core centring system and the co-injection hot runner.

As a further development of the successful core centring technology InMedio I, the new InMedio II is launched – with the 88th patent application.

With its 100th patent application, FOSTAG continues on its path as a driver of innovation, always with the aim of protecting its technologies while offering them to customers worldwide.
